About This Product
Students start with Oersted’s experiment and map the field around a straight wire, a single loop and a flat coil, then move to the field inside the solenoid and the effect of current and turns. Swapping the iron, brass and wood cores shows how the core material changes an electromagnet, and the relay and bell circuits show where electromagnets are used in practice. The Electromagnetism can be supplied on export terms to Jordan, Eswatini, Cambodia, Belize, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Chad.
Frequently Asked Questions
What cores are supplied with the Electromagnetism apparatus?
Three rods of 150 mm x 20 mm: soft iron, brass and wood, used to compare how core material affects the solenoid field.
